    Inception Ceremony

    At the hands of Shaykh Fulān, Sadr ul Ulama Academy was launched with the primary intention to further the pursuit of knowledge in the UK.

  • Al-Sarf Al-Jilani Launched
    Al-Sarf Al-Jilani Launched

    Our first publication, al-Ṣarf al-Jilānī, a primer in Arabic etymology and verb conjugation was published to the UK speaking audience.

    Our first event

    Urs-e-Makhdoomi took place on Sunday 29th October 2017 at Masjid-e-Noor-ul-Islam Bolton with guest speakers such as Hazrat Mufti Aslam Bandyalvi, Hazrat Allama Qari Tayyib, Shaykh Mufti Wajid Iqbal and Shaykh Yaseen Shadhili.

    First Spiritual Retreat Held
    First Spiritual Retreat Held

    We held our first 24hr spiritual retreat for biys 12 or older at Sultan Bah Trust Bradford. Working in conjunction with Al-Hikam Institute, Sultan Bahu Trust Bradford and Essential Islam, we were able to hold activities such as MMA and Q&A sessions with Mufti Wajib Iqbal where youngsters could ask any question.

    Book Release: The Merit of Knowledge and Scholars

    Our second ever publication was a translation of Mawlana Naqī ʿAlī Khan's short work on the virtues of knowledge, it's pursuit and those who have amassed its bounties. A book which achieved great success.

  • Second Spiritual Retreat
    Second Spiritual Retreat

    We held our second spiritual retreat in August 2018 at Al-Hikam Institute Bradford working with Essential Islam and Sultan Bahu Trust Bradford. Open to brothers who were 12 or older, over 90 children attended and stayed overnight all enjoying their time.

    In September 2018 we had the honour of launching our third book, The Forty Hadiths which is a translation of forty ḥadīth qudsī which were compiled by Imām Yūsuf al-Nabhānī.

    Mawlana Sayyid Samdani delivered a seminar on the importance of perspective and the dangers of nihilism in Masjid-e-Moin-ul-Islam, Bolton in October 2018.

    In December 2018, we were privileged to publish our next book in our "Dars-e-Nizami" lineup of texts, al-Mantiq al-Jilani. Perhaps, the first english primer in classic Islamic Logic.

    Our third Spiritual Retreat was held in Bradford during winter holidays in 2018 at Sultan Bahu Trust in conjunction with Essential Islam and Al-Hikam Institute. Close to a hundred children attended and benefitted.

    A translation of a classical work by Shaykh Abd al-Azīz al-Pirhārwī translated by Sayyid Muhammad Zarqani for our Annual Conference this year at our Sayyiduna Amir Mu'awiyah Conference held at Mohaddis-e-Azam Mission Bolton on Saturday 14th January 2019.

    A conference like no other. With guest speakers from all over the world coming together to deliver academic talks on Sayyiduna Amir Mu'awiyah's life. Guest Speakers include Hazrat Pir Sayyid Irfan Shah Mashadi, Hazrat Allamah Qammaruzzaman Azmi, Hazrat Allama Qari Tayyib, Shaykh Asrar Rashid, Mufti Wajid Iqbal and many more.

    Fourth Spiritual Retreat Held

    We had the honour of taking our model applied in Bradford and utilise it in Bolton. Working with Masjid-e-Noor-ul-Islam, Mohaddis-e-Azam Mission Bolton, SDI Youth Education Centre Bolton and IEC Bolton we were able to cater for 76 children who stayed overnight and took part in archery, MMA and up to 6 religious workshops learning about the fundamentals of the religion. We also had guest talks by Mawlana Sudagar and Hafiz Asad Ali.
